We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. Both are cookieless. They don’t set identifiers, don’t follow you between sites, and don’t build a profile of you. That is why this site has no cookie banner — we set nothing on your device for analytics, advertising, or profiling. The one third-party thing this site loads is a spam check on the email box, described below, and it only loads if you use that box.

We see aggregate counts: which pages are popular, roughly where traffic comes from, and how the site performs. We can’t see who you are, and we couldn’t single you out if we wanted to.

There are no advertising pixels, no social-media embeds, and no session recording on this site. Nothing here follows you anywhere.

There is one form on this site: an optional box where you can ask to be notified when new employment reports are published. If you use it, we store your email address and which page you submitted it from. Nothing else — no name, no account, no password.

We do not currently send any email at all. There is no newsletter. No part of this website is capable of sending you a message today. We’re storing addresses so that if and when we build report alerts, we can tell the people who asked. If we never build them, we’ll delete the list rather than sit on it.

We will never sell, rent, or share your address, and we won’t use it for anything other than the notifications described above. If we ever want to use it differently, we’ll ask first.

Want it removed? Email contact@cohort.report and we’ll delete it. You don’t need to explain why, and you don’t need to have used a particular address to ask.

The email box is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam check. It exists because that box is the only place on this site where anyone can write to our database, and a list full of junk addresses is a list we could never use.

It is not a tracker and it is not advertising. It loads only if you click into the email field — if you never touch it, your browser never contacts Cloudflare at all. When it does run, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical signals about your browser in order to decide whether you look like a person, and may store something in your browser under Cloudflare’s own domain to remember that answer for a few minutes. That is the whole of it. Cloudflare states it does not use this data to profile people or serve ads; we don’t receive any of it, and we get back exactly one thing: pass or fail.

This page used to say there were no third-party scripts here at all. Now there is one, on one box, and we’d rather spell that out than quietly narrow an old promise.

The employment data on this site is aggregate, school-published information about graduating classes — salary medians, industry breakdowns, and similar. It contains no information about individual students, and we would not publish it if it did. How it gets here is documented on the methodology page.
